Our Commitment to Renewable Energy

Makad is committed to protecting our environment while contributing to the welfare of society by developing projects that help the economy and create employment.

In that pursuit, we have also become committed to the development of renewable energy resources that will help to protect our environment and reduce our dependence upon fossil fuels.

Our newest development is more than just a chemical plant. It is the development of an entire renewable fuel regional business strategy. It combines the production of clean burning ethanol from renewable crops with the distribution of that fuel directly to the end-user in the form of E85 and E10 motor vehicle fuels. In that vein, we are developing some of the first biofuel stations in the Pacific Northwest where our environmentally conscious neighbors may choose to fill their vehicles with clean burning fuel products that are compatible with our philosophy: “The Power of Clean Energy™”

We anticipate involvement in other renewable energy projects and research in the coming years. We are becoming active in research relating to the development of cellulosic ethanol and expect that the future will bring us additional opportunities in the clean energies of tomorrow.
