The Makad Global Team has a long history of development of industrial, energy, commercial and hospitality projects in the Middle East, Europe, North Africa and Asia. Since 1975, the Company, through its Chairman, Elie Makad, has had a significant development presence in North America. Under the direction of Mr. Makad and through the resources of Makad Corp., American operations headquarters was initially established in Portland, Oregon, USA and currently in Vancouver, Washington, USA. The North American operations center has been active in development of international trade in hard goods and staple products, food products and other consumer goods. The Company has been involved in hospitality development, theme park resort development, energy production, basic product development, chemical production, renewable energy and numerous other fields of business development.
Our focus in development, as well as its other core disciplines, has shifted away from providing services to unaffiliated owners. We have instituted a policy of providing core services to entities in which our company or its affiliates have a significant equity/ownership interest.
